I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with five years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
My approach to counseling is warm, supportive, and individualized. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and know that you are being heard without judgment. I use an integrative approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a holistic perspective, person-centered therapy, and attachment-based interventions to meet each client’s individual needs and goals. I believe in looking at the whole person and considering how emotional, relational, behavioral, and life experiences can influence overall well-being.
I also have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and have a particular interest in helping clients work through difficult experiences, develop healthier coping skills, manage emotions, improve relationships, and build confidence and resilience.
Having served in the military, I value the experiences and perspectives that have shaped my approach to counseling and the importance of meeting each person with respect, understanding, and compassion.
My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to work alongside you as you navigate challenges, recognize your strengths, and move toward the life you want.
